What about Socks!

Sock Designs
Neutral
Neutral as the name suggest are good for professional setting for black tie events. Its good practice to match them to the colors of your trousers, not with the shoes to shirts. Try to match the shoe , socks and Pants colors. Textures too play an important role; if you had got similar textures, its great to have them, don’t wear silky shiny socks with Casual socks with tweet suit.
However neutral suits aren’t resaved for the formal occasions, as it works in casual outfits.  Even though they may lack the vibrancy of a block colored sock or the character of a patterned version, they still have a role to play. You can tie the top and bottom half of your outfit together (try using a navy sock that matches your navy blazer), use plain socks to anchor bold colored chinos, or simply use something as subtle as a black or grey sock to make a statement when paired with shorts this season.

Block Color
Black colored socks are the first thing we pickup as our default choice, they are simplest to grab and go with everything in the wardrobe. Try using accent colors in your look , like a tie and contrast or compliment for your socks to fit

Sometime you need to wear something which more or less complements with the saturation of your knitwear. When wearing neutrals, going too match isn’t good thing always, if you re picking out an orange hue , try pairing more yellow socks.

Patterned

Prints are patterns are timeless, and possibly going to big this season.

While going for patterns, try to pick out colors, . For example, if you’re rocking an argyle print cardigan, don’t attempt to don some argyle socks as well (it will look overly matched and generally just a bit too much.) Similarly, if you have a heavily patterned outfit already in play, leave the patterned socks in the draw – they’re best paired when minimal patterns are in play.
 Boot Socks

Boot socks are relatively new style statement. Using long thick and warm with flecked or mottled appearance. As they are supposed to pair with your chunky boots. They have become increasingly popular within men’s fashion due to the emphasis we have seen placed on an outdoorsy aesthetic and the rise of heavy duty footwear. Most men will now own a pair of hiking or military boots, and the thick construction of a boot sock ensures comfort when wearing this type of footwear for extended periods of time.

The Extra Rules
  • Always match your socks. Odd socks are big no, they make you look like you got dressed in dark.
  • Don’t get attached. Once you got holes in you socks, its time to let them go
