Methods to use Amala:: Make concoct paste of amala powder preferably in iron vassal. Leave overnight and wash hair and scalp with this preparation. If time allows repeat of this every 3rd or 4th day. Henna is also good for hair , you could make paste of it and apply on the hair for some time. Leave it for an hour or two and rinse it properly afterwards.
Regular use of amala gives better nourishment to the hair. Antibiotic properties also help in dandruff removal while giving shine and protection to the hair strands.
Amla powder could be used as natural astringent and skin toner that works on both hair and skin. This preparation helps promote luxuriant hair, even as it helps to curb hair loss; it stimulates hair roots and promotes the hair growth. And as we all are aware of its medic nary properties, it prevents scalps from infection and controls premature graying of hair.

Amala paste, when applied on skin regularly helps to brighten the complexion and removes pimples and gimes. Take one spoon amala powder and add some warm water to make paste and gently rub on the skin and face.

Step 1
Scoop ½ cup of amla powder into a small bowl. Add ¼ cup of warm water to the amla powder in the bowl.

Stir the amla powder and water using a whisk to combine the two ingredients. The amla powder and water mixture should form a thin paste.
Step 3
Apply the amla powder to your hair while it is dry. Scoop the amla from the bowl using your fingertips.
Step 4
Massage the amla powder paste into your scalp and hair roots using circular motions. Apply the amla powder to your hair ends afterward.
Step 5
Pile your hair on top of your head and slip on a plastic shower cap. Leave the amla paste on your hair for 15 to 30 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the plastic cap after the waiting period. Rinse the amla powder from your hair until the water runs clear. Shampoo and style your hair as usual.
